Personal injury cases are generally handled on what is called a contingent fee basis. This means there are no up front charges for Attorney's fees. Legal costs, including the cost of investigation, are all advanced by the law office. The client pays nothing unless and until the attorney is successful in obtaining a recovery by way of settlement, judgment, or award.
